DNS Verification Failed for "lumensia.online" - All troubleshooting steps completed

I am writing to request your help with a persistent SSL certificate provisioning issue for my custom domain. I have followed all the troubleshooting guides, but the problem remains.

My Details:

• Netlify Site Name: lumensiasmarttechnologie.netlify.app

• Custom Domain: lumensia.online

The Problem: For the past 48+ hours, I have been unable to get an SSL certificate for my domain. The dashboard consistently shows the error: “lumensia.online doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify”. When I try to renew the certificate, it fails with the “DNS verification failed” message.

Troubleshooting Steps I Have Already Taken:

1. Waited for Propagation: I changed my nameservers at my registrar (Rumahweb) to point to Netlify DNS more than 48 hours ago.

2. Verified DNS Records: I have used third-party tools like dnschecker.org to confirm that the DNS records are correctly propagated worldwide.

   • The A record for lumensia.online correctly points to Netlify’s load balancer (75.2.60.5).

   • The CNAME record for www.lumensia.online correctly points to my Netlify site (lumensiasmarttechnologie.netlify.app).

3. Tried Renewing Certificate: I have tried clicking the “Renew certificate” button many times over the last two days, without success.

4. Re-added the Domain: I completely removed the custom domain (lumensia.online and its www alias) from my Netlify project, waited for over 15 minutes, and then re-added it. The issue immediately returned.

5. Checked for Conflicts: I am not using any external services like Cloudflare, and I have confirmed there are no conflicting DNSSEC or CAA records at my registrar.

Conclusion: Since external DNS checks show that my configuration is correct, and even re-adding the domain did not solve the issue, I believe this is an internal caching problem on Netlify’s side that I cannot resolve myself.

Could you please manually investigate the logs for my domain, clear any stale DNS cache on your servers, and help trigger the SSL certificate provisioning process?

@tofel Unfortunately your conclusion is incorrect.

You haven’t set your A record to 75.2.60.5.

You’ve set it to:

75.2.60.5
99.83.190.102

Which is incorrect.

Since that value does not exist in Netlify documentation it’s likely you got it from a hallucinating “AI”.

The IP address you mention, 99.83.190.102, is incorrect. You’ll want to remove any A record pointing to that address.

Hi, @Antony_RObinson. Would you please confirm which chat bot provided the IP address 99.83.190.102? I ask because that is not a correct IP address for Netlify. Other have reported that this is information ChatGTP is providing. Is that where you were told that 99.83.190.102 was the IP address to use? Please delete the A record for 99.83.190.102. That should resolve the issue but if not, please let us know with a reply here.
