DNS SSL certificate not working for site

It has been nearly 24 hours since updating my nameservers to point to netlify. I think I may have switched the nameservers too soon before adding all of the dns records from their registrar but I’m not sure. My second guess is that I have an inactive Netlify DNS zone and I was thinking of deleting the whole thing and starting over…

The site is fairwoodretirement.com or else fairwoodretirement.netlify.app
I’ve used https://dnschecker.org/ to confirm the nameservers are correct. I attempted to move over their email records only.

  • When I click on the “Verify DNS Configuration” button is says “verification failed, * fairwoodretirement.com doesn’t appear to be served by Netlify”

Thank you so much for any assistance.

Hi @lanesbrains,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the issue.

The issue should be resolved now and the domain is resolving properly for me and the SSL Certificate has been provisioned.

Thank you for the prompt help, Melvin.

So I can better understand how to handle this in the future, could you please explain what the issue was for me? Thanks again

Hi @lanesbrains Thanks for following up.There was an issue when additional records were added to the DNS Zone. I was able to fix this issue with the NETLIFY Records and you should be all set.
