Custom domain not loading site after HTTPS activation

Hi, hope you are well.

I migrated my site mariofilho.com to netlify in order to have HTTPS but I can’t figure out why it’s not working in some situations.

If I access it via: https://mariofilhocom.netlify.app/ it’s fine

If I try to access via Chrome (where I have a history of previous access) I get ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED most of the time. Sometimes it loads the website and then stops.

If I try to access via Firefox Mobile (have a history) I get: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

Chrome Mobile: ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

With Firefox and Safari on Desktop (without history) it loads fine.

Some users related having the same issue. I looked at some topics in the forum, but nothing helped.

Certificated was generated Yesterday (Apr 17 2020) at 11:21 AM GMT -3.

Thanks!

Hi,

we also have a customer reporting a similar issue on one of our websites hosted by Netlify, see the messages below.

Is there something we can do to troubleshoot it?

Thanks

IE and Edge give this message:
Can’t connect securely to this page
This might be because the site uses outdated or unsafe TLS security settings. If this keeps happening, try contacting the website’s owner.

Firefox gives this message:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to (our-website-omitted). SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

The problem disappeared since yesterday (about 48h since I migrated), but I renewed the certificate after posting here.

glad it is working now @mariofilho - @fvigo are you still seeing this error? which site is this regarding? we need to know which site to look at the DNS records.
