Create a subdomain from a new Branch

Hey guys,

I have already hosted a site on Netlify and I would need to add a subdomain on Netlify through a new branch.

I followed the doc (Site deploys overview | Netlify Docs), created my new branch, created the subdomain on Domain Management/Branch subdomains. When I click on my subdomain https://recursos.felixdigital.es/ , there is nothing.

I checked that the project was deployed. I don’t know if I’m missing something in order to have my subdomain setup.

The new branch netlify URL is:
https://5f2da000a610a30008d02ba7--admiring-banach-6eb2e5.netlify.app/

Hiya @felix,

Seems like our system didn’t understand recursos was a branch deploy. I’ve just updated our database so it understands that, so your next steps are:

  • return to this URL where you configure branch subdomains: Netlify App
  • the button to create one will now work for the recursos branch
  • when you click it we’ll automatically make a new DNS record for you and should show that latest content from the branch at the URL you mention: https://recursos.felixdigital.es/
