Connection error for my website

When I try to go to my site I get this message: Your connection isn’t private Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.promotheshchatterjee.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more about this warning net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

Hi @promothesh,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to Netlify’s Support Forums!

Sorry for the issue. I’ve checked the DNS settings, I see you’re using Netlify DNS and the Netlify name servers are correctly configured:

dig promotheshchatterjee.com NS +trace | tail -n 6
promotheshchatterjee.com. 3600	IN	NS	dns1.p06.nsone.net.
promotheshchatterjee.com. 3600	IN	NS	dns2.p06.nsone.net.
promotheshchatterjee.com. 3600	IN	NS	dns3.p06.nsone.net.
promotheshchatterjee.com. 3600	IN	NS	dns4.p06.nsone.net.
;; Received 142 bytes from 2620:4d:4000:6259:7:6:0:1#53(dns1.p06.nsone.net) in 37 ms

I renewed the SSL Certificate here, and it was successfully provisioned. You should be all set. I visited the domain and it’s properly resolving.

Please let us know if you’re seeing any issues. Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi @Melvin ,

I have created my website using Netlify, https://verdant-souffle-338104.netlify.app/ but when I try to open it in Google Chrome, it shows a warning indicating that the site is dangerous. However, the website opens without any issues in Incognito mode.

Could you please investigate why this is happening? The site should ideally open in Google Chrome without the need for Incognito mode.

I would appreciate it if you could resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi, @ishwar181818. This a Google Safe Browsing Advisory:

https://developers.google.com/safe-browsing/v4/advisory

We do not know why Google flagged your site nor can we control what Google does. Quoting that page above:

If you believe we’ve included a page on our phishing list in error, you can report this using Report Incorrect Phishing Warning.

Based on that, Google recommends you report the false positive on the page linked to above.

Ok i reported this to Google …But i don’t Know now when it will start working

Hi, @ishwar181818. I no longer see the error so it looks like it is fixed now.
