Change of DNS disabled my email

I had a registered domain on godaddy.com but I recently built a new design for my website and changed the DNS. I changed the nameserver for my domain so it would display the website I had built when I go to my website. The change worked but it resulted in my email being disabled. My email I used was a gsuite hooked to my website. How do I get my email back and how do I resolve this issue?
