Can't add A record to dns

Hi there,

Trying to add an A record to my dns and recieving the following error:

dns_api modeck.io - MoDeck 400 - link exists, all config must be empty

My domain is modeck.io and Netlify link is modeck.netlify.app

Assistance would be much appreciated!

@SteveLewisZA Maybe I don’t understand, but you seem to be using Netlify DNS, so you shouldn’t need to add an A record. What am I missing?

Oh Mailchimp was telling me I need to set the A record but I’m guessing that’s not actually required for what I’m wanting to do, pretty new to DNS things…

I unlocked those records for this custom domain so (if you do decide to do so) you can delete the NETLIFY/NETLIFYv6 records now if you want to. (You don’t have to but it is possible now if you choose.)
