My serverless functions 125K limit got over and now it is suggesting me to upgrade.

It is not clear to me

  1. What are difference between Starter / Pro for functions limits.
  2. If I upgrade to Pro - will it give me another 125K requests? or it will cost me additional 25$ on top of Pro?
  3. What happens to limit if I go for Starter?

I have plenty of room for other limits, just hit this one.

Please provide clarity.

@kunal.saxena.kunal The pricing page shows:

The answers are:

There is no difference.
The Pro plan does not increase your available Serverless Function invocations.

No.
It does not provide another 125k requests.
It does provide more of other resources (Bandwidth, Edge Functions etc).
Look at how all the other values are specified, if it did provide more it would say 250k per site /month.

Yes.
It will cost you an additional $25 on top of Pro.

The Serverless Functions are basically priced separately.
So if it’s the only limit you’re exceeding, it doesn’t matter which plan you’re on.

The detailed pricing information for Serverless Functions is shown on this page:

thanks for providing clarity.

@kunal.saxena.kunal You’re very welcome.

If you’re only exceeding the Serverless Functions allocation, just stick with the Starter Plan.

If you were ever to exceed the Bandwidth for example, then switching to the Pro Plan is a much more cost effective way to get yourself more bandwidth (without immediately paying the overage charge).

Makes sense. Also I want to explore if there is any room for optimization in my app.

Any way to get visibility into what is consuming max of functions limit?

@kunal.saxena.kunal I think you’re looking for this?
