ZIP deployment failure (Deploy failed while extracting zip),

(Note: I first look up for similar posts in this forum, but it seems my case is not the common one: too many files in the ZIP)

Hi,

My Zip deploy (6669b9a0c38378407cd9ee72) fails, and let me with this log:

5:07:12 PM: Unpacking archive
5:07:27 PM: Unpacking archive
5:07:48 PM: Unpacking archive
5:08:44 PM: Unpacking archive

How can I find more information on what’s happening?

Thanks!

@dvlpp It seems common enough to get an answer, see this post:

I got the same issues when deploying using Bolt.new, the app run perfectly on my local PC. But when I deploy it through the interface in Bolt.new it shows this error.

How can I fix this? Should I directly connect my Git repo? Also I dont think I have too many files. Its a simple web app.

Edit: When I connect my Git repo directly it works, but deployment through bolt does not. Can you please help with this. I am part of the Bolt.new hackathon and it is a requirement to deloy only through Bolt.new platform.

How Bolt performs deployments to Netlify is up to their system, if their chosen method is causing issues you would need to speak to them regarding it.

This is unfortunately irrelevant to this particular issue.

Use any ‘Create deploy’ method with Netlify that doesn’t use a zip file.

If you want to, since it’ll work (as you’ve already discovered).

If you think it’s potentially ‘some other issue’, then provide a count of how many files are in the zip.

If it’s “10 small files”, perhaps you have a case to argue with Netlify to look into it.
If it’s “many files” or “larger files”, the advice will likely remain the same (use another deploy method).
In either case, Netlify are unlikely to do anything regarding it ‘urgently’, you’ll need to self-solve.

In the other thread you commented in, you can see they state the file limit is…

No, you’ll need to speak to Bolt, Netlify do not administer Bolt’s systems.
