When you upgrade to pro plan, how long does it take to increase from 10 seconds to 26 seconds in my account?

Hello Netlify team,

I recently upgraded to a Pro plan on Netlify and would like to know how long it will take for the time limit for features on my site to increase from 10 seconds to 26 seconds.

Function increases are instant but you need to request this change as it’s not the default for our users. Can you please share which sites on your account you are requesting the increase? I’m happy to help.

The message continues to appear even though I have upgraded to the Pro plan.

errorMessage: “2023-07-07T16:17:21.246Z 80eb6f41-c56e-4c14-9643-c44f4810b32b Task timed out after 10.02 seconds”

This call that I make sometimes takes more than 10 seconds, it is a call that is part of a subscription plan, so even if I share the domain with you, you will not be able to see that error.

Why does this happen?

I know you have upgraded to Pro plan. It’s timing out because your function needs more time to run. It’s timing out because I haven’t increased your function timeout. When you upgrade your plan to Pro the function timeout increases are not automatic.

You need to provide your site ID so I can manually increase your function timeout limit.

There really isn’t any documentation to perform this process, and it’s annoying to have to search a forum for the answer, as you mention, this should be automatic.
