Website returning "ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH" error

Good day everyone, my website runeclues.com is returning an error “ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH” when I try to access it, even from different devices. Checking the SSL/TLS certificate under domain management shows that my site has HTTPS enabled and everything looks normal. Trying to access it via netlify’s subdomain https://runeclues.netlify.app/ works perfectly fine.

The things I have tried in the past 2 days was mistakenly adding cloudfare’s provided name server to my DNS records which i just removed, but my website is still not enabled. I will appreciate any troubleshoting tips or guidance in this matter! Thank you

Edit: Turns out having my VPN turned on caused this issue. Turning it off allowed me to access my website normally

Hi @Shuang394,

Thanks for updating you post and letting us know how you resolved the issue:

I have same problem on my webside www.smartpush.cz -ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

I was installing 3-th party library for cookies, but I change my mind and delete that cookies, there was nessesary to upload DNS, after that I leave my DNS uploaded. Today I saw the error about MISMATCH and delete new DNSs, but nothing change and error is still active.

I also tryed to renew certificate. And it also doesn’t work.
From netlify subdomain everything work fine https://graceful-sable-a8ea23.netlify.app/. not from www.smartpush.cz.

I get a site not found for that subdomain.

I delete all dns and set domain again from scretch. And DNS with A atribute as it was in doc. And after fl1hour it start working.
