I would like to get rid of the extension Neon, and there is no way to do so nor documentation explaining how to just simply uninstall it.
It keeps reinstalling simply by using the netlify dev instance.
I’m facing the same issue.
I’m starting thinking it’s engineered that way to force its adoption. Each time you do a local test, you probably have the same behaviour, it installs again the Neon plugin. There’s no single reference to Neon in the project though, no dependency related to it, never even created an instance and it keeps being re-installed. You can opt-in but not opt-out…
