Hello Netlify Support Team,

I am trying to add my custom domain, coffikallogic.xyz, to my current site, but I am receiving the error: “coffikallogic.xyz or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

I was previously using this domain on another Netlify team, but I accidentally deleted that team recently and lost access to it. As a result, I can no longer log in to remove the DNS zone myself.

I have already created the required TXT record (verified-for-netlify) on my domain registrar to prove my ownership of the domain. Could you please verify the record and release the domain from the old team so I can add it to my new project?

I understand the issue. Since the previous Netlify team was deleted, the domain can remain locked to that team even though you still own it. Adding the verification TXT record should help prove ownership. Hopefully, Netlify Support can release the DNS zone so you can reconnect the domain.
