Deployed my app just fine using Netflix generated app name (https://charming-phoenix-676bab.netlify.app/). Now I am trying to use my own domain (congral.tech) that is registered at namecheap.com. Trying to follow your instructions at Netlify App I got the error message stated in the name of this topic.

Have you added
congral.tech to Netlify under the Domains area of the UI?
Read the above support guide and configure
congral.tech as per the appropriate documentation linked above. I use Namecheap myself so if you have any further issues, I’m happy to help.

I completely forgot that
congral.tech is being used (by me, that is), so I purchased a new domain, set the name servers (at namecheap) to point to Netlify DNS servers and am now waiting for this change to propagate.
If by tomorrow I am still unable to use this new domain (rw-community.org) as the custom domain for my app deployed at Netlify, I will have to come back for more help.

How to change this to remove the www - so my app is accessed as
