Stuck wildcard cert on external DNS — please remove wildcard and reissue standard cert for milliesstudysolutions.com

Project name: milliesstudysolutions (milliesstudysolutions[.]netlify[.]app)
Team: milliecrock11’s team
Custom domain: milliesstudysolutions[.]com (primary), www[.]milliesstudysolutions[.]com
DNS: external, managed at Unstoppable Domains (ns1/ns2[.]unstoppabledomains[.]com). Apex A record points to 75.2.60.5, www CNAME to milliesstudysolutions[.]netlify[.]app.

My certificate expired today (17 Sept) at 4:04 PM and will not renew. Visitors get a “This Connection Is Not Private” warning.

The certificate covers *.milliesstudysolutions[.]com and milliesstudysolutions[.]com. Because my DNS is external, the DNS-01 challenge for the wildcard can never complete, so renewal failed with:

SniCertificate::CertificateValidationError: Unable to verify challenge for *.milliesstudysolutions[.]com: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.milliesstudysolutions[.]com

I have already deleted the orphaned Netlify DNS zone for this domain, since nothing was delegated to it. There is no wildcard entry under Production domains for me to remove, and the Renew certificate button is now hidden because of the Let’s Encrypt rate limit (Acme::Client::Error::RateLimited, 5 failed authorizations).

I do not need a wildcard certificate. Could you please remove the wildcard from the certificate and reissue a standard Let’s Encrypt certificate for milliesstudysolutions[.]com and www[.]milliesstudysolutions[.]com only?

(Domains written with [.] to stay under the new-user link limit.)

Thank you.
