SHED.com - Site was deleted with verified domain now i cant use it

I deleted a site that had the verified domain shed.com. Now I can’t use the domain with the correct site that I meant to use it with (shedcom.netlify.app). I have created txt DNS record on shed.com DNS to have:

TXT verified-for-netlify.shed.com. 331938 (support ticket)
CNAME www shedcom.netlify.app
A shed.com. 75.2.60.5

I can’t add the domain to the site shedcom.netlify.app due to it being assigned to a previous site in the same account that I deleted without knowing that I needed to disassociate the domain (I guess?) I would think that the system SHOULD remove the domain from being associated with a site when the site is deleted from netlify. But that didn’t happen, OR I am missing something?

Was hoping for faster support so I upgraded to Pro plan. Then the email said within 4 days. Ugh!

yes, this morning i got a response. I just lived in portland, miss it, maybe moving back! So different than N. Carolina ha! Thanks for response.
