After logging in I noticed that one of my site has been suspended. It has been up for 10 months now and given the site theme, does not seem to me to have broken any rules I’m aware of. The site is a side project I built during an internship for generating linkedin embed code.
Basically the user enters a linkedin post URL and the URL is plainly pasted inside an iframe code snippets for the user to copy and reuse. Everything works on the user device with no APIs or tracking done.
Hi, @nelioyann. Unless you have written legal permission from LinkedIn to use “linkedin” in a domain name, they will report your site and we will be forced to suspend it.
You cannot use strings like “linkedin”, “netflix”, etc. for your site names at Netlify unless you have the permission of the company in question do so.
If you do have LinkedIn’s permission, let us know and we’ll open a support ticket so you can share the proof privately.
