Netlify returns 404 for static assets like js chunks and css files intermittently

My site keeps returning a 404 only sometimes for assets that should exist, like the webpack js chunks and css.

I’ve also tried deploying from Netlify using the clear cache option, but it still doesn’t work.

Netlify Status - Cache purge issues on Standard Edge network

We saw that the status was updated shortly afterwards. We looked at Netlify’s status earlier in the day and it had not been detected. It took several hours for it to be done.
