Netlify-plugin-lighthouse fails with Ubuntu Focal 20.04

Using Ubuntu Focal 20.04 I receive the following error:

If I use the Ubuntu Xenial 16.04 image then it is successful.

Welcome to the Netlify Forums, and thanks for bringing this up to us. I also see you opened an issue here, which we appreciate! The appropriate teams are currently aware of this issue.

Downgrading the build image to Ubuntu Xenial is the solution for now. We have an issue open internally and I have filed this instance on it, so we do not need anything else on your end!
