My subdomain is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team

Domain “laennec.com.br” - Managed by Deleted Team on Same Account (Need Release)

Hello Netlify Support Team,

I am trying to add my custom domain, laennec.com.br, to a new site on my current Netlify account.

However, when attempting to do so, I receive the error message: laennec.com.br or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.

My specific situation is:

  • I previously had laennec.com.br associated with another team on this same Netlify account
  • I unfortunately deleted that team without first explicitly releasing or removing the domain from its settings.
  • I understand this means the domain record might still be lingering in your system.

Could you please assist me in releasing laennec.com.br so I can add it to my desired site on my current Netlify account?

To verify ownership, I am ready to provide:

  • A screenshot from my domain registrar Registro.Br showing me as the owner of laennec.com.br.
  • If required, I can also add a specific TXT record to my domain’s DNS to verify ownership.
