Issue with Subdomain TXT Record Verification Despite Correct DNS Settings

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering difficulties with verifying a subdomain using a TXT record. Here’s the situation:

  • We have successfully added the required TXT record at the root level of our domain: ‘unisg.ch’
  • Additionally, we have set up a CNAME record for the subdomain inspiragraph.iwi.unisg.ch pointing to inspiragraph.netlify.app.
  • Despite both records being correctly configured, the subdomain verification process fails, and we are unable to add the subdomain as intended.
  • To complicate things, we are unable to use A records for this subdomain, as the domain is administered centrally by a large university..

Has anyone experienced similar issues, or can provide guidance on what might be causing the verification to fail? Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

I already submitted a mail to the support almost a week ago - no reply. The support form says " Issue sending request"
