Is it possible to limit the CDN locations a site is hosted on?

Hi,

Is it possible to limit the regions that a site is deployed to? Specifically, is it possible to only host a website on European servers?

I don’t think so. The process is automatic and thus, it’ll automatically travel around the world. Not sure if Netlify can control the flow for just 1 website or not.

Tis true what @hrishikesh says here, @flixcor - our CDN will always be global and we have no provision for hosting only locally.

However, correctly configured DNS means that your European visitors will get content served from European servers in the vast majority of cases, so the speed should be good.

It won’t help if you have some corporate rule about hosting only in your country, but it is no problem for general laws like GDPR to host anywhere.
