Hugo build error: Error building site: TOCSS: failed to transform "scss/style.scss" (text/x-scss)

This started happening on my nightly builds starting on the 28th and any subsequent commits to my GitHub repo to https://unrivaled-sawine-ed32a6.netlify.app/

Literally nothing had changed, so I’m not sure what is going on here.

Did someone turn off extended? How do I get it back on?

Hey @Rivetgeek

A recent poster had the same issue with the same version of Hugo as you. Although counter-intuitive, they set the version to that without extended, and the extended version was used

Hugo site not using extended version

I made some content updates to our site, and the build failed because it used regular Hugo instead of the extended version, which used to be the default before (I need support for SASS). Netlify App is the site. I didn’t change any settings other than modifying some content. I tried to play around with the HUGO_VERSION build variable, but couldn’t find a setting that makes it use the extended version. Any ideas on what to try next? The latest succesful build uses this Hugo version: hugo v0.8…
