How to deploy express app, without frontend and without overriding the frontend files

functions = “netlify/functions/”
publish = “build”

[functions]
external_node_modules = [“express”]
node_bundler = “esbuild”

I am trying to deploy functions using the content give above for the netlify.yml file. But when I am deploying the functions separately, the frontend app which is deployed separately is getting overriden.

This has been solved, but we are getting another issue: Netlify deploy, process cancelled with exit code 130
