How to create a masked url that points to a Netlify domain

Hi,

I’m wondering if it’s possible to mask a third-party url to a site on Netlify.

I have a site already on another host and infrastructure, but I would like for one url on that site to mask and point towards a Netlify site.

Essentially whats described in Rewrites and proxies | Netlify Docs but the external pointing to Netlify, rather than Netlify to external.

Is this possible?

In your use case, the rewrite will need to be configured on the other host.
