Problem:
When I try to add my custom domain to my current Netlify project, I receive this error:
“foodkindl.org or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”
The domain was previously connected to an older Netlify team. I deleted that team approximately one month ago, but the old Netlify DNS zone appears to remain associated with it.
I own the domain and have complete access to its Namecheap DNS settings.
Troubleshooting completed:
- Deleted the previous Netlify team.
- Confirmed the domain is in my Namecheap account.
- Confirmed Namecheap BasicDNS is selected.
- Tried adding the domain to my current Netlify project again.
- The same error continues.
Requested assistance:
Please remove or release the old Netlify DNS zone so that I can add the domain to my current Netlify project.
I can verify ownership by adding a TXT record named verified-for-netlify through Namecheap. Please tell me the required verification value.
