You need to change records from Proxied to DNS Only per [Support Guide] What problems could occur when using Cloudflare in front of Netlify?
Additionally your DNS isn’t configured correctly for external DNS as per [Support Guide] DNS Quick Start - How to set up DNS and related documentaion Configure external DNS for a custom domain | Netlify Docs
Hey @dig, thank you so much for the response. from what i read from the link you provided I decided to go ahead and remove the site from Cloudflare altogether and changed my nameservers to that of Netlify.
Solved the issue and renewed the certificate. again thank you for your help
