Error message when trying to create from new template

I’m trying to deploy my website that has a template and I keep getting an error. This is the error:

9:22:20 PM: Failing build: Failed to prepare repo

9:22:20 PM: Failed during stage ‘preparing repo’: error checking for ref: : Host key verification failed.
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
: exit status 128

I’m creating this template through netlify and I think there’s something wrong with github, can someone help me?

Is the template repo private? Are you sure you’ve given Netlify access to that repo as well?
