Drag & drop feature not working on site, getting different errors troubleshooting

hi,
im trying to connect my pdf to my subdomain using netlify. i’m using an app called flowpaper and i have dragged & dropped it to deploy to my subdomain. i have been trying to trouble shoot issues with no resolution. i followed this quick tutorial exactly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTbdbHXAbhI

my site is https://in-essence.netlify.app/

the first time i tried, it showed the pdf but there was an error that said “License key not accepted. Please check your configuration settings”. there isn’t clear instructions on license key activation on flowpaper so i just logged out & logged back in. then i tried to deploy the updated pdf back in netlify again, and the whole site turned blank.

so as a last attempt, i deleted the pdf and the site and redid the whole process again and now i’m getting an error that says “page not found”. i looked through different issues on this forum to double check & everything appears to be in the folder for example, the index.html file etc. i’m really not sure what the issue is. can anyone please help me figure this out?

i hope this makes sense!

@eray65 Providing support for working with flowpaper would be ‘out of scope’ for these forums, but you can absolutely get help understanding why you’re getting ‘page not found’ etc.

I don’t have time to watch a tutorial, can you just show exactly what files you’re trying to deploy?

Do you have a repository link?
A screenshot of the files?

You can also use the Deploy File Browser to see what files you currently have deployed:
https://answers.netlify.com/t/new-feature-browse-files-in-your-deploy-with-the-deploy-file-browser/105196

I don’t think I have a repository link or Git connection. I’ve attached two screenshots of the file folder and the deploy page. I was looking for the Deploy File Folder and I can’t find it.

I dragged and dropped the folder again at 5:40 and deleted the previous deploys to see if that would work but still, no resolution.

You don’t, I’d just missed that you were using ‘drag & drop’.

The second screenshot isn’t useful, a better one would be what you see in the Deploy File Browser.

What’s the netlify.app URL for the latest version of the site that you’ve deployed?
Is it still in-essence.netlify.app?

If the files are still as above, the main reason you’ll be seeing “page not found” is because there is no index.html file.

So you have to use the URL of a specific file, for example:
https://in-essence.netlify.app/in-essence-vol-1

Why it shows:

License key not accepted. Please check your configuration settings.

Would be up to flowpaper, and have nothing to do with Netlify.

My wild guess is the key could be incorrect or domain restricted.
If it’s domain restricted it means it would only work when loaded via approved domains.
E.g. It may be approved for zine.essenceatelier.world but not netlify.app.
