This is from the netlify documentation
You’ve already added the TXT record:
-
Name/Host:
verified-for-netlify -
Value: a reference to your site / support case
That matches the general verification pattern Netlify support uses to prove domain ownership before freeing a domain from “another team.” [Another site is using this domain]
-
Now you must contact Netlify Support so staff can:
-
Check the
verified-for-netlifyTXT record. -
Remove the DNS zone / domain from the other team so you can add it.
Go to the support form and choose:
- What kind of help do you need? → “Another site is using this domain” [DNS zone already exists; Another site is using this domain]
Support will follow up by email and, once they verify the TXT record, they’ll free the domain (as shown in similar cases like
awad.dev,pixbender.com, etc.). [awad.dev example; pixbender.com example] -
Be sure to include in your support request:
-
The domain:
sakib.ami.bd -
Your Netlify site name (the
your-site-name.netlify.appyou used in the TXT record) -
Confirmation that the TXT record
verified-for-netlifyis in place.
