Domain verification required: sakib.ami.bd is already managed by another team

I am trying to add my domain sakib.ami.bd to my site, but it says it’s already managed by another team. I have added a TXT record verified-for-netlify with the value your-site-name.netlify.app to prove ownership. Please release this domain so I can add it to my account.

You’ve already added the TXT record:

  • Name/Host: verified-for-netlify

  • Value: a reference to your site / support case

That matches the general verification pattern Netlify support uses to prove domain ownership before freeing a domain from “another team.” [Another site is using this domain]

  1. Now you must contact Netlify Support so staff can:

    • Check the verified-for-netlify TXT record.

    • Remove the DNS zone / domain from the other team so you can add it.

    Go to the support form and choose:

    Support will follow up by email and, once they verify the TXT record, they’ll free the domain (as shown in similar cases like awad.dev, pixbender.com, etc.). [awad.dev example; pixbender.com example]

Be sure to include in your support request:

  • The domain: sakib.ami.bd

  • Your Netlify site name (the your-site-name.netlify.app you used in the TXT record)

  • Confirmation that the TXT record verified-for-netlify is in place.
