Hi Netlify Support,

I recently purchased the domain sharmahimanshu.in through GoDaddy.

I am trying to add this domain to my Netlify project, but Netlify is showing the error:

“Another project is already using this domain.”

I own and control the domain and can verify ownership through DNS.

Please help me release sharmahimanshu.in from the previous Netlify project/account so that I can connect it to my current Netlify project.

I will add the required verified-for-netlify TXT record in GoDaddy DNS pointing to this support topic.

I have now added the TXT record:

Host: verified-for-netlify
Domain: sharmahimanshu.in

The TXT value points to this support topic.

Please verify the ownership and release the domain from the previous Netlify project/account.

I have added the required TXT verification record for sharmahimanshu.in.

Host: verified-for-netlify

The domain is currently using GoDaddy nameservers.

I am still receiving:
“sharmahimanshu.in or one of its subdomains is already managed by Netlify DNS on another team.”

Please verify my ownership and remove/release the existing Netlify DNS zone for sharmahimanshu.in from the other team so I can add it to my current Netlify project.
