Does Netlify provide a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect my hosted site?

The title basically says it all. I’m guessing the answer is no, but I would like a definitive answer.

Yes, you’re right. There’s no firewall as such, but you could implement your own with Edge Handlers when they’re released in the future.

You can get creative and implement a simple IP whitelist at the moment with Netlify Functions, but you can expect the costs to increase rapidly if you have many visitors for your website.

Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

Good news, folks! We’ve launched our firewall feature as Generally Available, which is documented here: Firewall Traffic Rules | Netlify Docs
