Dns lookup finds mx record of unknown origin

I’m setting up email aliases with a new email forwarding service, but it’s complaining that it contains an MX record that isn’t listed in my custom domain’s DNS settings. The record in question appears to be from the prior email forwarding service I was using:

10 http://mx2.forwardemail.net/

where is this record coming from and how can I delete it?

The issue is occurring on: davidwtoday.netlify.app / davidw.today

These are the MX records I see

% dig davidw.today MX
davidw.today. 3600	IN	MX	20 mx2.improvmx.com.
davidw.today. 3600	IN	MX	10 mx1.improvmx.com.
davidw.today. 3600	IN	MX	10 http://mx2.forwardemail.net/.

Do note, MX records to not have a http:// at the beginning, nor a trailing /.

That’s the record I’d like to delete. dig shows the record, but it’s not showing up in my DNS settings on netlify.

Curious that it doesn’t show up. I cannot see those records as I am not a Netlify employee. A Support Engineer should have further information/assistance though.
