Deploy Static Site To Netlify (No Static Site Generators - Simple Static HTML, CSS and JS Folder)

Hi,

I’ve checked and whenever I drop the folder, a new subdomain URL is created. I would rather wanna drop the folder and the changes should be made to existing site.

In case if it is not possible and should be done via git, what exactly should I be doing? I am new to netlify and github. But, if you could help me with an article or anything that would help me learn and deploy a simple static site from git to netlify, that would be helpful.

would mean a lot.

Thanks,
Looking forward for help!

If you go to your sites’ deploys tab and drop the static files there, it will update the site instead of creating a new one.
