Deleted Domain Alias, but DNS Record Type = NETLIFY Still Exists

Hello,

My app is wizardly-colden-8ae93a.netlify.app

I’m trying to point api.stockpot.app to a server hosted on AWS. I added a domain alias yesterday pointing to api.stockpot.app, and then I realized that was not the same as adding an ALIAS DNS record.

I deleted the domain alias and added the correct DNS record, but the NETLIFY DNS record still exists, and is causing the domain to resolve to Not Found.

Is there a way where I can delete this record manually?

we flipped a switch that should allow you to delete that record now. Let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks for taking a look. Looks like I can delete the auto-generated domains, but I still can’t delete the domain alias.
