hmm, did you read through this thread already?

That’s a really common question! Netlify does not provide email service. But no worries! You can choose a service yourself, and then set up the DNS records required by that email provider at Netlify. Note that these instructions are primarily for folks who are using Netlify’s DNS Hosting .
Any mail provider should work with our DNS hosting, from major ones like GSuite and Outlook to your own mail server. Some specific services customers have report…
I am not an expert on email, but I am wondering if you need to have an SPF or DMARC entry to avoid this error:
Good afternoon !
I just bought my domain via netlify platform, and I try to connect my domain to an email provider, which is Migadu .
I followed the step to setup DNS, created MX and SPF records and I now have to create DKIM and DMARC records, but I can’t find them in the list where MX and SPF are suggested.
Here is what my dashboard tells me to create these records:
for DKIM: DNS Hostname (TXT record name)
default_.domainkey mydomain.com
and for DMARC: DNS Hostname (TXT record name)
_dmar…
is any of this helpful at all?
My problem is what value should iI use?
The red: webmail.seguro.com.br
or
the blue: mail.ita.locaweb.com
Should I use both
?
How to know which is the mail server hostname in that list?
Is it, mx.a.locaweb.com.br like the examples in gmail.
or is it mail.ita.locaweb.com.br, because it starts with “mail” like the other examples you posted?
should it start with mx, or mail or webmail?
The correct answer was:
3600 IN MX **0 mail.mydomain.xxx.xx

Hey @Adriano777 ,
What changed? You may need to consult with your email service provider for accurate settings and configuration .
Nothing changed they said. But I finaly gave up and worte all those entries they sent me.
And it worked…
Don’t know till when.
