Content-Length Header: Not being sent for ZIPs

So I have issues with the ZIPs I have hosted on my website, I need to send the length of ZIPs so my client can show the progress of the download, the problem is that the Content-Length header is not sent, I tried with different extensions, and it seems to send this header for PNG images.

Now how can I have the Content-Length header sent for all assets?

I already saw a thread on this forum, though it didn’t provide any solution on that problem.

Web: https://ultramods-cdn.netlify.app

This site displays OK only. There is nothing to click on.

Do you have a URL others can test?

Sure: https://ultramods-cdn.netlify.app/maps/m1014.zip

As per the answer given in the following post, the Content-Length header does appear

This sample file is small so wasn’t able to monitor the download information.

While I am not a Netlify employee nor legal expert, is does appear this site may violate the Acceptable Use Policy point 2 which states:

Any user deemed to be using Netlify Services solely as a remote storage server will have their account immediately terminated and will have all files associated with their account permanently removed.

If you are simply using this as a way for clients to access data, better to use a dedicated service like WeTransfer, or store and share files from Dropbox, Box, or other such service.

Ah alright It was for test purposes anyway, I would have switched to something else anyway, I will remove it then
