Can't add custom domain

Hello!

I’m trying to add our customer domain to my account/site, and it keeps giving me the “custom_domain is owned by the other account” error. I can’t find where this is already added somewhere, but I can’t add it.

What can I do to troubleshoot?

it could be that another customer has already tried to add the domain, which one are you trying to add? we’d need some additional information in order to troubleshoot.

hi kevin, what is your netlify site name?

I currently have staging.organic.com pointed at this, confirmed by nslookup. However, the site won’t load, figuring it would be because of certs + custom domain registered.

yes, it seems like it isn’t loading - i’m going to let a technical support engineer take over from here, i think we have all we need to troubleshoot.
