Can you point Netlify registered domain to a third party DNS?

Quick post to try and verify my understanding. If I’ve registered a domain through Netlify—is there no way to point to a third party DNS?

hi there,

you don’t have to use Netlify DNS even if you bought the domain through us (we are actually not a registrar, but we do contract with one.)
