Why does Netlify need access to all of my repos? All of them are private but some are under non disclosure, how can I only give Netlify access to specific repos in git hub

PLEASE help us help you by writing a good post!

  • we need to know your netlify site name. Example: gifted-antelope-58b104.netlify.app

I want to use the Preview feature, but I needed to connect to Netlify first… but

I don’t have a url as far as I know I can’t find where to even view the sample pages. Maybe it’s hidden somewhere in the UI?

I can’t give Netlify access to all my repos so what is the alternative? Why can’t I choose which repos to use Netlify with?

Hi @JMC

You mean you wish to use the Deploy Previews feature?

You only have a site URL when you have deployed a site.

Netlify doesn’t (and won’t) do anything with a repository unless you instruct it to do it—i.e. by linking and deploying it.
