I was trying to understanding the pricing page for Large Media? What exactly does the 2.5k mean? 2.5k assets (regardless of file size)? Or a fixed storage amount?
Quite litteraly, 2.500 transformations. A transformation comes down to a requested image in a certain size. From the docs:
- Image transformations : This counts the total number of image transformations performed on any images on your site during the current billing period.
So for instance, if your site has blog posts with two images:
A header…
/images/apples.jpg?nf_resize=fit&w=1920&h=1080
and a thumbnail
/images/apples.jpg?nf_resize=smartcrop&w=300&h=400
Then 50 different blog posts equals 100 transformations used. Transformed images are cached for faster performance and reduced transformation count. I’ve used it quite extensively and never even got close.
