I have tried various ways of listing the node version in the file and they all have the same results. When I try building to version 20.14.0 on a branch that doesn’t have the nvmrc file the project builds just fine. I have reason for needing to include the nvmrc file in the GitHub repo, is there any way to fix this issue or just have Netlify ignore that file all together?

I found the solution to the issue. The issue came from the file using CRLF line endings I changed it to LF line ending in my text editor, afterwards the builds started succeeding again.
