We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain and DNS propagating 3+ days

i have been trying to link my my custom domain(jackgough.co.uk) with my netlify site
fastidious-bienenstitch-428816.netlify.app however it either gets stuck on propagating DNS for 3+ days or in my case has now given me the error: We could not provision a Let’s Encrypt certificate for your custom domain.

Any help is most welcome.

Hey @jack1

I see no records, A, CNAME, or NS records for jackgough.co.uk (see results on Zoho Toolkit.)

As there are no records, the domain is unavailable. Let’s Encrypt cannot issue a certificate for a domain it cannot reach.

Whois shows Netlify Name servers

Name servers:
    dns1.p01.nsone.net
    dns2.p01.nsone.net
    dns3.p01.nsone.net
    dns4.p01.nsone.net

Whois data (see here) also shows a message saying the registration is suspended

Registration status:
    Registered until expiry date.
    *** This registration has been SUSPENDED. ***

I suggest you contact the registrar to sort this out.
