I have a domain name purchased through Squarespace that I am trying to make the apex domain of my Netlify site. I followed the DNS configuration steps in Netlify and made a record in Squarespace that is Host: thequadlab.com, Type: CNAME, Priority: N/A, and Data: apex-loadbalancer.netlify.com. For a few days going to thequadlab.com brought me to an empty page. Now it goes to my Netlify site, but domain management still says Awaiting external DNS and it cannot provide a Let’s Encrypt certificate. What do I have to do to fix this? I have seen other posts but none that address Squarespace directly and are helpful.
