Using a hugo shortcode to embed a YouTube video

Hello,

I have a simple site set up using the starter hugo with netify CMS project. It works just fine. Now, I want to embed a youtube video in some of my content - for starters, let’s just say my home page (although I will want to do the same in the future for blog posts). I read about Hugo shortcodes, and the youtube shortcode seems like exactly what I want. However, when I put the shortcode into some text using the content manager (my site /admin - the netify CMS), it just renders as-is on the home page. Is there a way to do this simply?
