The Site I just deployed won't open(page not found 404 error but local code works fine)

I just signed up with Netlify and had an existing repo from Github that I imported. I just wrote this code and it works locally on my machine. However, when I deployed the repo the preview doesn’t show the app, and it doesn’t load when I click the URL that was given to me. I changed the site name to see if that helped as well.
