If you can add the www
subdomain to your Google site, why can’t you add the apex as well?
My site doesn’t want to connect to the SSL. My domain name is www.stilry.com / stilry.com
and I’d upload my own SSL, but Namecheap doesn’t want to show me the private key or anything like that.
Your DNS is not pointing to Netlify:
dig A +short @8.8.8.8 stilry.com
dig CNAME +short @8.8.8.8 www.stilry.com
Hi @Melvin
I checked through all the guide here and I can see that my domain is pointing to Netlify DNS.
However, https is not provision as Waiting for DNS propagation keeps spinning and it over 48 hours.
The domain name is ldtsolutions.com.vn
I look forward hearing from you soon.
Cheers,
Hi @long1211,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry about the issue.
I was able to (on our end) click the verify dns configuration button and the SSL Certificate has now been successfully provisioned. You should be all set. Let us know if you have any issues.
Thanks very much <3
Have a nice day
Hi,
I’m facing the same issue of the SSL not being provisioned, and I went through the checklist without issues.
The domain is: victorrahola.cat, associated to victorrahola-web.netlify.app
Thank you!
Hi @marnau,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry about the issue. I’ve checked your DNS configuration and it looked good, so on my end I “pressed” the Verify DNS Configuration button that was located here (note it’s no longer visible as the SSL Certificate has been provisoned), and the SSL Certificate has been provisioned. You should be all set.
Hi, my custom domain is ‘http://mjcalc.site/’.
How can I get the SSL ? looks DNS is no problem.
Hi @exhibi99,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the issue. Behind the scenes I clicked the Verify DNS Configuration button and the SSL Certificate was able to provision. You should be all set now as I see that the site is secure. Let us know if you continue to have any issues.
Hello. I have buyed domain name at squarespace , the name is “mroia.com”.
on squarespace I used a and cname records :
- www CNAME N/A dev-mroia.netlify.app
- @ ALIAS N/A apex-loadbalancer.netlify.com
- @ A N/A 75.2.60.5
Isue is : "
"
fixed - I choose www.mroia.com as primary domain instead mroia.com and now it works great!
The issue with mroia.com
is you haven’t remove the Squarespace name servers

Name Server: dns4.p05.nsone.net
Name Server: ns04.squarespacedns.com
Name Server: dns3.p05.nsone.net
Name Server: ns03.squarespacedns.com
Name Server: ns01.squarespacedns.com
Name Server: dns2.p05.nsone.net
Name Server: dns1.p05.nsone.net
Hi @Melvin I need help too.
The site okratravels.com.au was deployed about 3 hours ago and I have clicked on the HTTPS setup numerous times but it keeps reverting to " Waiting on DNS propagation" on page refresh. I had gone through your checklist above and all the propagation was completed almost instantly after deployment. So, no issues there. Looking forward to your expert assistance!
Hi @manojk,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear about the issue with getting a SSL certificate.
It may have been an issue with propagation. I just did a Verify DNS configuration on my end and the SSL Certificate has now been provisioned. You should be all set.
Thank you for being a lifesaver, Melvin! I confirm it’s been provisioned!
issue solved thank you so much
Hi support team,
Can you help me check this site’s SSL https://test.20percent.xyz, it seems to have no errors? Thank you so much
@lamhung180699 it looks like the SSL certificate has been updated to include that subdomain, this was likely due to propagation
Can you please check for scottnewlin.com
scottnewlin.netlify.app
I’ve already checked the above mentioned steps and everything seems right, but still not SSL certificate.
