Serve static assets with cache policy

Hi,

I am working on improving the web performance on my side.

One of the suggestions from Chrome lighthouse scores is adding cache policy to static assets.

I tried adding it via .htaccess but still getting speed improvement suggestion. Can this be done via netlify?

Any suggestions will be really helpful
