Request Header Fields Too Large

Hi!

I was experimenting with Netlify Identity and using user_metadata to story some key value pairs. Recently, started getting some 431 errors saying that “Request Header Fields Too Large”.

Digged a bit into GoTrue API and came across this code:

So couple of questions:

Is there a possibility to generate access token without user_metadata?
Is there a way to increase header size limit?

I ended up moving out from Netlify Identity to another service with more flexibility and control.
So the question is not relevant any more.
